Advancing research on online harms, misinformation, and coordinated manipulation.
The International Workshop on Cyber Social Threats (CySoc) brings together researchers studying the misuse of online platforms to spread misinformation, hate speech, harassment, and coordinated manipulation. Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and develop methods for understanding and mitigating these harms.
Topics span computational social science, natural language processing, network analysis, human-computer interaction, and policy. The workshop provides a venue for presenting new datasets, measurement studies, detection methods, and intervention strategies.
